Actually, as I see we are the descendants of the cro-magnon humans,
and somehow, the "older" other human species, like neanderthals
(there were others, which just disapeared before written history,
like a small humanoid species, which bones were found somewhere
in Indonesia. According to Discovery Channel - not the most
reliable source
- they left traces as new, as 12 thousand years old.)
So, it looks like we did our part to be _The_ dominant species
on Earth
But enough of this collective-guilty stuff.
I just wanted to say, that even our own history is complicated
enough, so however detailed information we have, there are
blank pages - or just hints and big "?"s, which make perfect
niches for almost any ideas.

But still, one of the most basic rules for survival on any planet is never to upset someone wearing black leather - This is why protesters against the wearing of animal skins by humans unaccountably fail to throw their paint over Hell's Angels.
