Wow!

I just read this whole thing from start to finish (i got here late, sorry) and I must say that you've got some skills Toc!

I'd very much like to see you continue with these current characters, especially Dangolf and Pvt. Snuffy!

Snuffy kinda reminds me of my current troop.....

I just love hearing hearing from new readers :) Glad you liked it. I just re-read it all myself to brushup on where I left off. I had forgotten that a request was made to include Medics in up coming chapters. Oh and psychics too, cant forget about them either.

Hey, hey! Glad to see you back.

I have a question to ask though, would you be interested in my continuing the misadventures of Lt. Patterson and Elfinster? Or would you like to see something new? I am toying around a idea with new characters, this time to be situated in Chi-Town.

So what's the word guys? Stick with the old or go for the new? :?

Frankly, I LOVED the Patterson/Elfinster back and forth banter! I say stick with what works till it doesn't... and then move on the something new. :ok:

Ok, by popular demand, I am going thru all my previous chapters and correcting the little spelling errors and such. I will then submit it to Palladium for a Rifter submission. Hopefully they like it enough to put it in.

You know, I've been thinking I am simply going to have to sit down and work out stats for our heroes. I've gotten requests for that and I think I would enjoy seeing them with stats. Ohh but what to assign for their alignments?

Alright, I have finished going thru the chapters to date and cleaned up the couple of left out words, grammar and spelling errors...at least I think I got them all. :)

I will send them via email to palladium and then have to mail in the use form thingie. I will let you know as I find things out how it is going.

He also writes the Myth series, which is fantasy.

However, his work has gone SEVERELY downhill since his hiatus during the 90s. The last few (anything with a co-author) were just unreadable.

Hello everyone, I know it's been sometime since I was last here but things have been going on for me that have taken up most of my time. In order they are:
1. I bought a house. I won't go in to all the details but suffice to say it was a rather long and drawn out process. It is now over though and I am happy to say things on that front are coming along almost perfectly.

2. My gallbladder has gone bad. It needs to be cut out and soon for a couple of reasons.
A: It hurts like hell! I can say this with some certainty that it felt like someone was using a taser on my abdomen and wasn't letting go of the trigger.
B: See reason 3.
I will be having surgury next week and after that I should be up and running within a few days.

3. As most of you know, I am in the NV Army National Guard. We are in fact, Nevada's only combat arms unit and we just recieved our orders for Afghanistan. To be a little more specific, we are going to the Eastern provinces, which for those of you who don't know, means we will be heading in to the worst of the fighting.

Knowing this, I will be doing my best to write more chapters before I leave. I will post them here as often as I write them and yes, I really will submit them to to Rifter so that those who collect it can see it there. I would hate to leave this unfinished when so many of you have said you enjoyed it.

Well, I'm finally on leave from my civilian job. Which is good because I'm about to be married. It will give me some time with her before I leave for Over There.
The good news for all the rest of you though is that since I will no longer be chasing after badguys here on the streets of lovely Las Vegas, I will finally have the time to write and write something good!

Alright, my last day stateside is finally here after much sweating and toiling under the Indiana sun. NO clue why they sent us here to train instead of somewhere more like Afghanistan but hey, that's a decision way above my pay grade.

Since I at last have nothing to do but sit down at the bar/internet cafe they have here, I'm going to stay here and write till they kick me out. I want that 12th chapter posted before flying out tomorrow morning.

I'm told we can expect some internet service where we are going, nothing fast enough for say a MMORPG but good enough to make posts here and respond to emails. Hopefully that is the case.

Hello all, I am sorry to report that this will be my last post for the foreseeable future. I am being sent out to one of the Combat Out Posts (variety of reasons but it boils down to COPs are far more dangerous and thus needed intelligent people defending them) instead of the nice FOB I had been told I was going to at first.

What does this mean? I am using a MWR computer that forbids use of jumpdrives so I am unable to post any of the new chapters I have written. I will when I get to a connection I can post from but for now I am screwed.
